Acts 9:23

This website has been moved to:

Acts 9:23: Now after many days were past, the Jews plotted to kill him.

2 Corinthians 11:32: In Damascus the governor, under Aretas the king, was guarding the city of the Damascenes with a garrison, desiring to arrest me;

Acts says that the Jews were the ones trying to seize Paul, but Second Corinthians says that the governor was the one trying to seize Paul.

There's no contradiction in there being multiple people trying to accomplish the same goal.

There's little to no indication that these verses are even describing the same situation. (and in fact it sounds like they aren't—one is describing a death plot, the other a desired arrest)
