John 13:36

This website has been moved to:

John 13:36: Simon Peter said to Him, “Lord, where are You going?” Jesus answered him, “Where I am going you cannot follow Me now, but you shall follow Me afterward.”

John 16:5: “But now I go away to Him who sent Me, and none of you asks Me, ‘Where are You going?’

John 13 says that Peter asked Jesus where He was going, but John 16 says that Jesus said none of them asked Him where He was going.

The verse from John 16 doesn't say the apostles had never asked Him, it only says that they weren't asking Him at that time.

This is shown by His use of the words: 'but now I go away […] and none of you asks Me […]'.
