John 3:13

This website has been moved to:

John 3:13: No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven.

2 Corinthians 12:2-4: I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago—whether in the body I do not know, or whether out of the body I do not know, God knows—such a one was caught up to the third heaven. And I know such a man—whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows— how he was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.
Hebrews 11:5: By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him”; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

John says that no one has ascended into heaven other than Jesus, but Second Corinthians says that Paul knew someone who was caught up into heaven, and Hebrews says that Enoch was taken away without seeing death.

1. No one but Jesus ascended != a man known by Paul ascended.
2. No one but Jesus ascended != a man named Enoch ascended.

(Solving: 1)

The ascension of the man known by Paul happened after Jesus' ascension, and the verse from John only states there had been none beforehand.

(Solving: 2)

It never actually says that Enoch ascended, it states only that he was 'caught up into heaven'. This leaves open that he may have been taken to heaven instantaneously.
