Leviticus 21:10

This website has been moved to: https://debatemap.live

Leviticus 21:10: ‘He who is the high priest among his brethren, on whose head the anointing oil was poured and who is consecrated to wear the garments, shall not uncover his head nor tear his clothes;

Matthew 26:65: Then the high priest tore his clothes, saying, “He has spoken blasphemy! What further need do we have of witnesses? Look, now you have heard His blasphemy!
Mark 14:63: Then the high priest tore his clothes and said, “What further need do we have of witnesses?

Leviticus says the high priest is not to tear his clothes, but Matthew and Mark say the high priest tore his clothes.

This just means that the high priest broke the law. There is no contradiction in recording a law along with an event where the law was broken.
