Luke 1:30-33: Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.”

Mark 3:21: But when His own people heard about this, they went out to lay hold of Him, for they said, “He is out of His mind.”
Mark 6:4-6: But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own country, among his own relatives, and in his own house.” Now He could do no mighty work there, except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them. And He marveled because of their unbelief. Then He went about the villages in a circuit, teaching.

Luke says that Jesus would be great among the people, but Mark 3 says that His own people thought He was crazy, and Mark 6 says that Jesus was without honor in His own country.

Contradictions:
1. Jesus would be great among the people != Jesus was thought to be crazy.
2. Jesus would be great among the people != Jesus was without honor in His own country.

(Solving: 1)

Someone can be great among the people and yet considered by some to be crazy.

(Solving: 2)
