Matthew 10:1-8

Matthew 10:1-8: And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease. […] Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.

Matthew 17:14-16: And when they had come to the multitude, a man came to Him, kneeling down to Him and saying, “Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is an epileptic and suffers severely; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water. So I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not cure him.”

Matthew 10 says that the apostles were given the power to heal, but Matthew 17 says that the apostles weren't able to heal someone.

It wasn't because of a lack of power that they failed to heal the man; it was because of their lack of faith, as is stated in Matthew 17:20.
