Matthew 11:25

This website has been moved to:

Matthew 11:25: At that time Jesus answered and said, “I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes.
Mark 4:11-12: And He said to them, “To you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things come in parables, so that ‘Seeing they may see and not perceive, and hearing they may hear and not understand; lest they should turn, and their sins be forgiven them.’”

Mark 4:22: For there is nothing hidden which will not be revealed, nor has anything been kept secret but that it should come to light.
John 18:20: Jesus answered him, “I spoke openly to the world. I always taught in synagogues and in the temple, where the Jews always meet, and in secret I have said nothing.

Mark says that Jesus sometimes explained things only to His apostles, but Mark also says that nothing had been kept secret, and John says that Jesus never explained things secretly.

1. Jesus' explanations were sometimes secret != Nothing had been kept secret.
2. Jesus' explanations were sometimes secret != Jesus' explanations were never secret.
