Matthew 11:29

This website has been moved to:

Matthew 11:29: Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

John 2:15: When He had made a whip of cords, He drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen, and poured out the changers’ money and overturned the tables.

Matthew says that Jesus was gentle and lowly in heart, but John says that Jesus made a whip of cords, drove people out of the temple, poured out their money, and overturned their tables.

You can be gentle and still have times of righteous anger.
