Psalms 10:1

Psalms 10:1: Why do You stand afar off, O Lord? Why do You hide in times of trouble?

Psalms 145:18: The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth.

Psalms 10 says that God can sometimes not be found in times of need, but Psalms 145 says that God is near to all who call upon Him.

The whole perspective of chapter ten is that he has confidence in God's power over evil. The first verse is entirely out of context—it's written because God comes to his children in times of need.

Here's the end in Psalms 10:16-18: "The Lord is King forever and ever; the nations have perished out of His land. Lord, You have heard the desire of the humble; You will prepare their heart; You will cause Your ear to hear, to do justice to the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may oppress no more."
