Quran 6:2: It is He who created you from clay and then decreed a term and a specified time known to Him; then still you are in dispute.
Quran 15:26: And We did certainly create man out of clay from an altered black mud.
Quran 32:7: Who perfected everything which He created and began the creation of man from clay.
Quran 38:71: So mention when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I am going to create a human being from clay.
Quran 55:14: He created man from clay like that of pottery.

Quran 16:4: He created man from a sperm-drop; then at once, he is a clear adversary.
Quran 19:67: Does man not remember that We created him before, while he was nothing?
Quran 24:45: Allah has created every living creature from water. And of them are those that move on their bellies, and of them are those that walk on two legs, and of them are those that walk on four. Allah creates what He wills. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent.
Quran 25:54: And it is He who has created from water a human being and made him a relative by lineage and marriage. And ever is your Lord competent concerning creation.
Quran 96:1-2: Recite in the name of your Lord who created - created man from a clinging substance.

Chapters 6, 15, 32, 38, and 55 say the man was created from clay, but chapter 16 says that man was created from a sperm drop, chapter 19 says that man was created from nothing(this is more clear in alternate translations), chapter 24 and 25 say that man was created from water, and chapter 96 says that man was created from a clinging substance.

Man could not have been created from clay, yet also from all of these other things.

Contradictions:
1. Man from clay != Man from sperm drop.
2. Man from clay != Man from nothing.
3. Man from clay != Man from water.
4. Man from clay != Man from clinging substance.

(Solving: 1, 2, 3, and 4)

I made a cake.
I made a cake from flour.
I made a cake from sugar.
I made a cake from eggs.
I made a cake from water.

Was there a discrepancy in my making of the cake? If not, then where is the discrepancy in the Qur'an's testimony of what man is made from?
