Romans 14:21

This website has been moved to:

Romans 14:21: It is good neither to eat meat nor drink wine nor do anything by which your brother stumbles or is offended or is made weak.

Colossians 2:16: So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths,

Romans says that we shouldn't do certain things regarding food and drink, but Colossians says that we shouldn't judge people for things regarding food or drink.

It is contradictory for the Bible to be doing something which itself declares wrong.

Paul isn't judging people at all in the verse from Romans, he's only saying that it's good for us to live in a way that doesn't cause others to stumble.

There is no judgement involved and there is therefore no contradiction.
