Second Kings 24:8

2 Kings 24:8: Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem three months. His mother’s name was Nehushta the daughter of Elnathan of Jerusalem.

2 Chronicles 36:9: Jehoiachin was eight years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem three months and ten days. And he did evil in the sight of the Lord.

Second Kings says that Jehoiachin reigned as king at eighteen years old for three months, but Second Chronicles says that Jehoiachin reigned as king at eight years old for three months and ten days.

Contradictions:
1. Jehoiachin became king at 18 != Jehoiachin became king at 8.
2. Jehoiachin reigned for 3 months != Jehoiachin reigned for 3 months and 10 days.

(Solving: 1)

This was most likely just the result of scribal copying errors.

(Solving: 2)

The length of his reign may have just been rounded in Second Chronicles.
